Where we check prices
Updated 6 November 2026 · All times UK (GMT/BST) · All prices include VAT.
Retailers we sweep
Seven UK retailers, re-checked on a schedule; every price page carries the date of the sweep it came from. Delivery and returns columns exist so a “cheapest” flag means cheapest all-in, not cheapest sticker price.
| Retailer | Typical delivery | Returns window |
|---|---|---|
| Overclockers UK | Next-day courier, £2.99 | 30 days |
| Amazon | Free next-day on cards | 30 days (sold by Amazon) |
| Currys | Free over £500, 2-day otherwise | Free collection from your door |
| AO.com | 2-day, £0 | Flexible, free |
| John Lewis | Named-day, £0 | No card returns in-store, online only |
| Very | 2–4 day, £0 | Free, with parcel returns |
| Argos | Same-day Collect, next-day deliver | Free, quick-change policy |
- Outlet and marketplace listings are excluded — only the retailer’s own stock counts.
- When a retailer stops listing a card, the “N retailers” count on each card shrinks with it.
- Delivery address and phone are shared with a courier only by the retailer you click through to — see our privacy policy.
How we track prices
- Each retailer’s price and stock status is fetched from their own site, and the sweep is timestamped on the page that shows it.
- The lowest valid offer becomes the headline “from £X at …” line, with the number of retailers carrying that card beside it.
- Every price we’ve seen is stored, so every figure on a product page can be checked against the record.
Affiliate disclosure
- Full legal detail lives on the privacy policy.
- Prices include VAT and delivery estimates are what each retailer promises on its own site.
Seen a wrong price?
- Email: [email protected] — tell us the retailer and card, and we’ll check the sweep.
- We log every price fetch, so corrections can be checked against the actual record.
